Sight: This wine presents a beautifully intense cherry red colour with glints of garnet. Bright aspect.
Nose: Hints of forest floor, dark fruit, spices and a background of slate and cocoa stand out in this wine’s bouquet.
Taste: Well put together and exceptionally balanced to the mouth with fine tannins. A tasty and balanced red wine which highlights its strength and the elegance of its ageing over time.
Accompanying Dishes and How to Serve: Should be served at around 18o centigrade and decanted about thirty minutes before it is drunk. It is ideally accompanied by grilled red meat and certain kinds of small game and game fowl such as hare civet or duck magret.
